Office cleaning
Office cleaning your staff notice for the right reasons
You do not want to think about cleaning. You want to walk in on Monday and find the boardroom table streak-free, the kitchen sink empty, the washrooms stocked and the carpet under the hot desks actually vacuumed. What you usually get is a crew that does fine for six weeks, then slides, and a supervisor who stops returning calls. That slide is the problem CedarPact was built to remove.

Why office cleaning is a people problem, not a floor problem
CedarPact Facility Group cleans offices and corporate buildings across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley on nightly, weekly or custom schedules. Every account starts with a written scope and room-by-room checklist agreed before the first visit, a fixed monthly price, and a dedicated account manager you can reach directly. The same trained team returns to your floor each visit, and quality inspections are documented and shared with you.
Your staff judge the building every morning. Fingerprints on the glass partitions, a full recycling bin under the printer, a kitchen that smells like yesterday's lunch: none of these are emergencies, but each one tells your team that nobody is looking after them. Hybrid work made this sharper. People who come in two days a week expect the office to earn the commute.
Shared desks, meeting-room phones, kitchen handles and elevator buttons are the surfaces that pass colds around a floor. Disinfecting high-touch points with a Health Canada registered product, with the correct dwell time, is routine work when it is on the checklist and skipped work when it is not. Sick days cost more than a proper nightly wipe-down ever will.
If you lease, your landlord and your lease both have expectations about the condition of the premises, and visiting clients form an opinion in the reception area before anyone says a word. A documented cleaning program also gives your facilities or HR lead something to show when a complaint lands, rather than a shrug and a promise to call the cleaners.

Want this checklist priced for your office?
A walkthrough takes about 15 minutes and you get the monthly price on the spot.

If we miss it, we fix it. At no charge.
Every account starts with a written scope and checklist. If a task on that checklist is missed, tell your account manager and it is fixed on the next visit at no charge. We re-clean until the work meets the agreed specification. No paperwork and no arguing over the invoice. That is the whole guarantee.
Request a quoteHow often should an office be cleaned
Most offices in the Lower Mainland run five nights a week after close, with washrooms, kitchens and waste on every visit and desks, dusting and detail work rotated across the week. Smaller firms with lighter traffic often do well on three nights. Buildings with a busy reception or shared floors add a day porter for washroom checks and spills. We set frequency from your headcount, floor area, hours and traffic, then write it into the scope.
Standards and documentation for office buildings
No inspector grades office cleanliness, which is exactly why documentation matters. CedarPact is WorkSafeBC registered, staff are trained in WHMIS 2015 and safe chemical handling, and safety data sheets for every product used on your site are kept available. WorkSafeBC's Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requires floors and walkways to be kept free of slipping and tripping hazards, and a nightly program is part of meeting that.
Confidentiality is part of the job in law firms, accounting practices, HR departments and head offices. Our staff are background-checked and uniformed, and we agree in writing which areas are restricted, how keys and fobs are handled, and what the closing procedure is. Documented inspection reports and optional weekly walkthroughs give your facilities lead a record, not just an impression.
What goes into your price
Every building is priced on these six things, on the spot at your walkthrough.
- Size of your space
- How often we clean
- Washrooms & kitchens
- Floors & glass
- Supplies included
- Periodic deep cleans
Offices: questions we hear a lot
Not covered here? Call (604) 341-2325 and a person answers, not a call centre.
Will it be the same cleaners each night?
Wherever possible, yes. We assign a consistent crew to each site so they learn your floor plan, your restricted rooms and your preferences. A team that knows which executive keeps papers on the desk, and which kitchen fridge gets cleared on Fridays, delivers a steadier result than a rotating roster.
Do you supply paper towels, soap and liners?
We can. Our scheduled janitorial supplies program delivers paper, soap, liners, chemicals and dispensers on a set cadence so your office manager stops making emergency runs. It is priced separately from the cleaning so you can compare it against your current supplier and decide.
How soon can you start?
Your start date is set at the walkthrough, so you know it before your account manager leaves. We handle the switch for you: keys, alarm codes, supply closets and the checklist are sorted before the first visit, so there is no gap between your current cleaner and us.
Are you insured, and are your cleaners background-checked?
Yes. CedarPact carries $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance, is bonded and insured, and is registered with WorkSafeBC. Our cleaners are background-checked, uniformed and trained in WHMIS 2015 and safe chemical handling.
