Office, lunchroom and washroom work is typically nightly or five days a week, timed between shifts so the lunchroom is clean before the next break and washrooms are serviced while empty. Aisle and dock floor scrubbing is usually weekly to several times a week depending on forklift traffic and dust load, run when receiving is quiet. Single-shift facilities often clean after close; three-shift operations get a day porter or a window agreed with the shift supervisor.
WorkSafeBC, WHMIS and site safety rules
Warehouses are WorkSafeBC jurisdiction, and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation's general housekeeping requirements apply to floors, walkways, refuse and spills. CedarPact is WorkSafeBC registered, and our staff are trained in WHMIS 2015 and safe chemical handling, so the degreasers, absorbents and sanitizers we bring on site are labelled, stored and listed in safety data sheets you can file with your own.
Our crews follow your site orientation, high-visibility and footwear rules, pedestrian routes and lockout boundaries, and they do not enter racking aisles while equipment is operating unless your supervisor has cleared the zone. Documented inspections give your health and safety committee a housekeeping record, and weekly walkthroughs with your operations lead are available on request.

Can you clean while the warehouse is operating?
Yes, with boundaries. Offices, lunchrooms, washrooms and pedestrian areas can be cleaned during operations on a schedule agreed with your shift supervisor. Floor scrubbing in forklift aisles is done when receiving is quiet or the zone is cleared, and our crews follow your site orientation, high-visibility and pedestrian route rules.
Do you scrub the warehouse floor or only the offices?
Both, if you want both. The scope is split into office, amenity and production zones so you can choose nightly office and washroom cleaning with weekly aisle scrubbing, or something heavier. Floor care, including machine scrubbing, degreasing and sealed concrete polishing, is a core CedarPact service.
How soon can you start?
