Most stores are cleaned before opening, in a window ending shortly before the doors unlock, or overnight where the lease and alarm allow. Big-box and grocery formats with long hours usually run seven days a week with nightly floor scrubbing, while boutique and mall units often run five or six mornings with washrooms and floors every visit. Peak seasons and inventory counts go into the calendar in advance, and frequency is set from traffic, square feet and floor type.
Standards, audits and documentation in retail
Retail has no single inspector, but it has plenty of auditors. Brand standards manuals, franchisor operations audits, landlord and mall rules for common area access, and your own loss prevention procedures all touch the cleaning program. We write those requirements into the scope, follow your alarm and key-control procedures, and provide documented inspection reports your district manager can file against the store walk.

Do you follow our brand's store cleaning standards?
Yes. Send us the store standards manual, the audit form or the district manager's walk sheet and we build the written checklist from it. That way the crew is cleaning to the same list your auditors score against, and the documented inspections we provide line up with your internal reporting.
What about spills and wet floors during trading hours?
A day porter can handle spill response, entrance mats, washroom checks and cart handles during busy periods, with wet-floor signage and a logged check round. For stores without a porter, your account manager can arrange same-day response for urgent requests, and spill procedures are agreed in the scope.
How soon can you start?
Your start date is set at the walkthrough, so you know it before your account manager leaves. We handle the switch for you: keys, alarm codes, supply closets and the checklist are sorted before the first visit, so there is no gap between your current cleaner and us.
